There's a Card for That - Greeting Cards for Plastic Surgery Patients

T1: There is, apparently, a greeting card for everything. A Dallas, TX company even offers cards for people having plastic surgery.

T2: Send the gift of laughter to go with a friend's face-lift, with a card specially designed for cosmetic surgery patients.

Camie Dunbar and Matthew Santamarina want to inject a little fun into people's lives to go with their Botox. How? Well, they've created LiftMeUp Cards, a company that specializes in humorous greeting cards meant to be sent to friends and family members who are going under the knife or laser beam for a little nip and tuck.

A privately held company based in Dallas, TX, Lift Me Up Cards dares to tread where no other card company would even consider, offering sassy greetings to the cosmetic surgery crowd. Sentiments include things like "Congratulations on the twins," for someone getting breast implants, or "You look like a million bucks (hope you didn't spend that much." They've even created "celebrity" cards, after hearing news that someone famous had a tummy tuck.

While their style is definitely irreverent, Lift Me Up doesn't ignore a good cause. During the month of October, they donated $0.50 per card sold to breast cancer research, as part of a nationwide "pink for October" awareness campaign, and their blog includes not only news about their line, but also some great celebrity gossip (who's had what done).

Funny, frank, and extremely fresh, Lift Me Up Cards have been making a splash with reviewers and national media. They can be ordered singly or for wholesale use, and notepads are offered in addition to standard greeting cards.
